Client Requirement
The company was looking to upgrade its out-dated time recording equipment and implement a more stable and easier to use solution to monitor attendance of its workforce. Additionally, they required a system that was compatible with a connected bell or sounder to signal start, stop and break times to alert employees it was time to up or down tools. The solution was to be a low cost replacement, which required minimal management, could cater for up to six clockings per day and would show a record of any overtime worked.

DAT-NEEDTEK TM920 Time Recorder
After visiting the site to review the work environment, we established due to the noise of the machinery, there would be a need for at least two sounders to be located at either end of the factory. These could easily be connected to the relay built within the TM920 model. Considerations were also required for the noise output of the sounders to establish a distinct difference from the fire alarm and the main building bell. The time recorder of choice was also a low cost solution that had the capabilities to pre-program the start, stop and break times and offered a simple means to record up to six clockings per day using our type DAT102115 clock cards.

Client Requirement
The company has been specifically developed to meet the demands of the European retail, mail order and online shopping market, with a number of depots spread throughout the UK. Each depot is required to manage it's own workforce and monitor staff attendance. Their objective was to install a simple to manage, low maintenance time recording solution that would aid their payroll and offer employees a record of their completed shift.

DAT-MAX ER1500 Calculating Time Recorder
We identified our client's core requirements as needing a simple clock card based solution that would cater for up to four clockings per day and offer a daily total of the accumulated hours worked. This was considered a low cost alternative that could be easily managed and that required almost no maintenance. With this card-based solution, employee's could also review their clocked in-out times throughout the week. Additional clock cards could also be ordered in bulk and where necessary transported to an alternative depot, which used the same system.

Client Requirement
As a side arm to retailing a number of new and used cars, each outlet has a full servicing and MOT department. The company required a solution that could assist with the recording of all warranty work and print the information onto it's own company documents. This information would then be collated for billing purposes and archived for historical reference. Additionally, they requested a system that could also be used to record staff attendance at the start and end of shift, which would be recorded on separate clock cards.

This company provided temporary staffing solutions to businesses throughout the UK. Due to the amount of temporary staff, located at different sites they required the provision to manage the time and attendance of all active staff and generate reports for the purpose of payroll and client reporting.

After researching various time and attendance suppliers this company approached Data Time due to their range of solutions and inclusive support packages. We identified our client's core requirements as needing a portable and proven PC-Linked system that allowed them to download data and create relevant reports using the collated information obtained from the separate on-site terminals. We also implemented a flexible payment package to include the rental of our systems specific to our customer's contract requirements. Our solution has simplified their payroll processes and eliminated inaccurate wages. It has also enhanced their customer service and efficiency providing client specific reports. Since this initial project we have worked with this customer on enhancing and developing their time and attendance protocol on both new and existing sites.

The company is continually expanding its organization and has become Europe's largest manufacturer of chilled cream cakes and currently supply their range of products to a number of leading supermarkets. Due to the amount of staff spread throughout the site, they required a solution that would collate all employees clocking data and upload the information into a master database, which could be managed by their dedicated HR team. Priorities included a full link to their in-house payroll system and the ability to cater for a four on - four off shift rotation.

We identified our client's core requirements as needing a network driven and stable solution that offered a comprehensive and flexible software platform to cater for their expanding business and employee capacity. The system allowed them to build a comprehensive database to manage attendance, absence, holidays and personnel records, along with the ability to generate reports specific to their working practices. We also implemented a full support package, which offers them the assurance that any request for assistance relating to both the software and hardware, will be responded to with the up most efficiency. Due to the success of this on-going project we have since been approached by the company to implement a number of other related products including large clock dials for both internal and external locations throughout site.
