Set-up, Installation and Training
Datatime offers set-up and installation for all time recording and time and attendance solutions within our range.
Installation is available upon request for all card based time recording equipment and is typically included where larger scale computerized solutions are required.
Installation (excluding wiring) would be subject to additional charges and in most instances a site survey. Installation is also subject to the customer providing a standard 240v a.c mains supply adjacent to the proposed clock mounting position and if appropriate a fully tested network connection is required within one metre of the clock mounting position (refers to computerized solutions and connection types only).
Set-up of your purchased equipment is in most instances pre-programmed prior to installation. This includes your stage one database (relevant to software linked solutions only) which can be built upon by your chosen operative(s), complete with a personnel and work schedule template. For the smaller clock card based systems all standard programming is also pre-set based on your requirements and includes week start day, day line change time and GMT/BST auto time change settings. Once on-site all equipment is checked and tested by our engineer to confirm your new system is operational.
Training on the use of the hardware (i.e.time recorder) is initiated by our engineers once the system is on-site and operational. This can include day-to-day operation, ribbon change and re-programming. All time recording equipment also comes complete with an instruction manual. For all software linked computerized solutions an initial training package is included upon completion of the installation. This will include set-up of additional employee's, how to complete daily tasks and operations and how to back up all downloaded clocking data.

Advanced Training
Additional training is available upon request and can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual or group of operatives. This can be carried out by remotely logging on to a customer's pc, by telephone or both. Alternatively we can arrange an additional on-site visit. This will in most instances have been pre-determined and if not included in the original quotation, may incur additional charges.
